CREATOR LICENSE
Use SafeWave music in monetized creator projects, client work, streams, podcasts, social content, games, apps, and online ads—without giving up ownership of your work.
You may synchronize authorized SafeWave tracks with original videos, livestreams and stream archives, podcasts, social-media content, client and branded productions, online advertising, presentations, films, games, and apps. Permitted projects may be monetized.
You may trim, loop, fade, time, mix, add voice-over, and make other ordinary production edits needed to fit the music into your project.
Credit is appreciated but not required. If you want to credit a track, a simple format is: Music: “[Track Title]” by [Artist] — SafeWave.
You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, or upload a SafeWave track as standalone music; place it in a stock-music library or sample pack; claim authorship or ownership of it; or use a music-only re-upload as a substitute for getting the track from SafeWave.
You may not register SafeWave music, or an isolated use of SafeWave music, in Content ID or a similar automated rights-claiming system in a way that can create claims against other authorized SafeWave users.
The creator license is non-exclusive and worldwide. SafeWave and/or the credited rights holder keeps ownership of the underlying music; you receive permission to use it only under these terms.
Effective August 11, 2026. Subject to these terms, SafeWave grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to synchronize an authorized SafeWave music track with your original audiovisual, audio, interactive, or other creative project and to reproduce, display, distribute, transmit, and publicly perform that completed project as reasonably necessary for the permitted uses described on this page.
Permitted projects may be monetized, sponsored, commercially distributed, produced for clients, or used by a business. Online advertising and sponsored social content are permitted. Games and apps are permitted when the music is incorporated into the project and is not distributed as a standalone audio asset.
You may make ordinary synchronization edits, including trimming, looping, fading, timing changes, voice-over, and mixing with other project audio. This does not permit releasing or selling a remix, edit, stem, sample, or derivative recording as standalone music.
You may not sell, sublicense, share, upload, or redistribute the track as a standalone music file; include it in a music library, stock-music service, sample pack, or competing licensing service; expose the raw audio through a template or product; or claim authorship or ownership of the underlying track. SafeWave and/or the credited rights holder retains ownership of the music.
A client, platform, distributor, or other recipient may receive and use the completed licensed project as needed to host, distribute, broadcast, display, or monetize that project. This does not transfer a separate right to extract or exploit the SafeWave track independently.
You may not register the SafeWave track, or an isolated use of it, in Content ID or a similar automated claiming system in a manner that can generate claims against other authorized users. Third-party platforms operate their own recognition systems, so SafeWave cannot guarantee that an automated claim will never occur.
A project validly created and published under this license remains licensed for that project if SafeWave later changes its standard license terms, unless the license was obtained through fraud or the project materially violated the terms that applied to it.
You may not use SafeWave music in unlawful content or in a way that falsely implies endorsement by SafeWave or the credited artist. Rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
The music and site are provided without a promise that every third-party platform will treat a licensed use in a particular way. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafeWave is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or platform-imposed losses arising from use of the site or music. If you materially breach this license, your rights under it may terminate. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership and restrictions on standalone redistribution—continue to apply.
Keep a copy. If you publish a project using SafeWave music, keeping a copy or screenshot of the license version that applied when you created the project can help document your authorization.
